Portugal have confirmed Bernardo Silva will miss the weekend game against Ireland due to a muscle problem. but should be ready for the weekend against Serbia.

The 27-year-old playmaker is in good form at Manchester City, but muscle problems prevent him from training with the national team.

He was gone both Monday and yesterday (Tuesday), with national team coach Fernando Santos confirmed to be due to a muscle condition.

However, he hopes Bernardo will be ready for a return to action against Serbia this weekend.
