Slot point out where Liverpool must improve even

Liverpool ‘s new manager Arne Slot believes the Reds still need to improve their final touches despite beating Bologna 2-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday.

“It’s not easy in my opinion,” the 46-year-old coach told โปรโมชั่น ufabet Sport after the game. “Bologna made it difficult for us. They did the same thing as Atalanta did last season. They played man-marking all over the pitch.”

“You have to wait for the right moment. It’s hard to cross in tight spaces. I think there were a few openings, but our final pass could have been better when we had the chance. Even though we scored two goals, there are still a lot of things we can improve on.”

“We scored two goals and they were good goals, especially the second one, but of course it is always difficult to play against a team that is ready to take big risks and press you all the time. However, in the second half we handled the press well. I felt that in the first half overall we did a good job, but I wouldn’t say it was satisfactory.”

For Liverpool, under the leadership of Slot, they have played in two UEFA Champions League games this season and won both games.
