Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has given an injury update on Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw, with both left-backs set to be out of the squad until mid-October 2024.
Malacia, 25, has returned to training after a knee injury and surgery that ruled him out for the rest of last season and is now back in training with the squad and the next step is to start full training with the squad, while Shaw, who admittedly struggled with injuries throughout last season, is nursing a calf injury.
“We hope Shaw can come back after the international break. I don’t know if he will be in time for the first game after the break, but we hope so. And I can’t say 100 per cent yet, but we have two and a half weeks to work from now. I think it’s possible.”
“As for Malacia, he has a very good recovery process. He is back in training. Now the next step is to train fully with the rest of the team,” Ten Hag said to ทางเข้า ufabet.
Manchester United are in their second Europa League game of the league stage away to FC Porto tonight, while they travel to Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend before the international break.
